Piano Lessons
Piano Lessons
Classical Composers: I like composers of the romantic period such as Schubert, Chopin, Grieg, Beethoven, and Brahms. I also do like Mozart. For piano competitions in my formative years I gravitated toward these composers.
Modern Composers: For offertories I love the compositions of Dan Forrest, John Ensminger, Kennon Renfrow, and Joan Pinkston.
Congregational Accompaniment: I have been impressed with Joan Pinkston’s Hymns of Grace & Glory. I enjoy improvising for congregational accompaniment. The Lord gave me the opportunity to accompany for the congregational singing at my church in Ohio from ages 13–19, and I would love to help train students to use their talents and opportunities for God’s glory.
Bird: Yes! His name is Matthew and he is a Green-cheeked Conure! He’d love to meet you! He will probably sing during your lesson, but he’s not usually on key. But at least he doesn’t know if you’re playing the wrong note.
